Services We Offer
Custom Woodworking and Metalworking Services in Baltimore
Soul Crafted Studio is a Baltimore-based custom design/build studio specializing in woodworking and metalworking for residential and commercial clients. We design and fabricate custom tables, furniture, cabinetry, and one-of-a-kind builds, handling every step of the process in-house, from initial consultation and design through fabrication and delivery. Having both woodworking and metal fabrication capabilities under one roof means we can take on a wider range of projects than most shops, and see them through with a single team accountable for the outcome.
Our process starts with an initial consultation. We want to ensure we’re fully aligned with your vision, the desired materials, and the final space for your custom piece. From there, we move forward with a digital drawing to allow you to see the design and easily make changes before we move forward with the fabrication process. Whether you are local to the Baltimore area or are somewhere in the U.S., we are excited to discuss a potential project and how Soul Crafted Studio can help achieve your goals. Our Custom Design/Build Services
We offer four core service areas, each with its own dedicated design/build process.

Custom Tables
We design and build custom tables for homes, offices, and commercial spaces, including live edge dining tables, conference tables, restaurant tables, and coffee tables. Every table is built to your dimensions, in the materials you choose, with a base style that fits the overall design.

Custom Furniture
We design and build custom cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, home offices, and commercial spaces. Every cabinet is built from cabinet-grade plywood and solid hardwood, sized to your exact dimensions, with materials and features selected during the design phase.

Custom Cabinetry
From benches and desks to bed frames, shelving units, and storage pieces, we build custom furniture for a wide range of residential and commercial applications. If it’s made from wood, metal, or a combination of both, we can design and fabricate it.

Custom Requests
Not every project fits a standard category. Our custom requests service covers builds like railings, doors, floating shelves, signs, displays, and institutional exhibit structures – anything that falls within our woodworking and metalworking capabilities but lives outside our core service offerings.

Industries We Serve
We work with a range of clients across residential and commercial settings throughout the Baltimore area and beyond.

Homeowners
We work directly with homeowners to liven up their homes with custom-crafted home furnishings.

Commercial Offices
Businesses and corporate clients who need custom furniture, cabinetry, and other display elements to improve their office decor.

Interior Designers
We work alongside interior designers as a fabrication and installation partner, handling the full build scope so designers can focus on the broader vision.

Restaurants
Restaurant and hospitality clients who need custom tables, bar tops, and commercial furniture built for daily use without sacrificing the look of the space.

Higher Education
Faculty office furniture, lab benches, campus displays, and purpose-built institutional fabrication for colleges and universities.

Retail
Display shelving, checkout counters, custom fixtures, and installations for retail environments of all types.

Why Soul Crafted Studio?
We handle woodworking and metal fabrication in-house, which means material decisions aren’t limited by what a single-trade shop can offer, and the design intent carries through to the finished product without getting lost between vendors.
Every project starts with a consultation and ends with a piece that was built specifically for the person who commissioned it. We don’t work from a product catalog or push clients toward predetermined options. The design process is collaborative, the build is done by hand in our Baltimore workshop, and the person you talk to at the start of the project is the same team that delivers the finished piece.
We’re a Baltimore studio, and we take that seriously. Our work is rooted in this city, working with local clients and local suppliers, and a direct line of accountability that comes from being the people who actually build what we sell.
